NEC

The term 'NEC ' as it applies to the area of photovoltaics can be defined as 'An abbreviation for the National Electrical Code which contains guidelines for all types of electrical installations. The 1984 and later editions of the NEC contain Article 690, 'Solar Photovoltaic Systems' which should be followed when installing a PV system'.

The term 'NEC ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' The White House National Economic Council, which in 1998 began examining some aspects of mergers in various U.S. industries; agricultural interests in 1998 and early 1999 were seeking to include agriculture as one of the industries'.
